Shooting Pool in the Age of COVID-19

It's happy hour at Billy's Brewery, one of the most popular bars in Vancouver. In the past, young singles would sit at the bar and flirt with each other over a Cosmo or Vodka and Tonic. But not any more.

Billy added two billiards tables to the establishment last year after scoring them as part of a bundled auction he won at his local storage facility. Despite the fact that they needed cleaning up, both tables were in great shape. Although the tables were virtually ignored during the first months at their new home, once COVID hit, there were stacks of quaters lining the rails to guarantee a spot for avid, socially-distanced players.
